Epidural Steroid Injection
(Interlaminar Approach)

Patient is placed on the stomach and the x-ray machine is used to locate the injection level.
Needle is inserted at the correct level. (L4-L5 in this example)
X-ray tube is turned 90 degrees and the depth of the needle is checked. Dye is then injected to verify the medication spread.
